Former Minister of Energy and current political figure, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, affectionately known as Napo, has paid a heartfelt tribute to the eight military personnel who tragically lost their lives in a recent helicopter crash.

In a solemn act of remembrance, Dr. Opoku Prempeh laid flowers at the Memorial Park of the Jubilee House, honouring the service and sacrifice of the fallen.

The gesture comes as the nation observes three days of mourning, declared in respect of the victims who perished in the line of duty.

Sharing his thoughts via his official Facebook page, Dr. Opoku Prempeh wrote:

“In solemn remembrance, I laid flowers at the Memorial Park of the Jubilee House, a quiet tribute to the eight souls whose lives were cut short in the line of service.

As the nation observes these three days of mourning, we honour their sacrifice, cherish their legacy, and carry their memory in our hearts.

May their example remind us of the value of service and the need to stand together in moments of loss.

May their souls rest in perfect peace.
