The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has been officially selected as one of the national training hubs for the Government of Ghana’s flagship Adwumawura Programme under the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP).

Announcing the development, the Executive Director of GNACOPS, Obenfo Nana Kwasi Gyetuah, expressed deep appreciation for the partnership, describing it as a “significant milestone” in the Council’s ongoing mission to position education as a catalyst for entrepreneurship, innovation, and national development.

“This collaboration marks a new era where education becomes a bridge to enterprise creation and youth empowerment,” Mr. Gyetuah stated.

“Through the Adwumawura Programme, GNACOPS will help equip young Ghanaians with the entrepreneurial mindset, leadership skills, and innovative capacity needed to drive job creation and sustainable business growth.”

The official registration and orientation for participants began today at the GNACOPS National Secretariat. The training initiative, which will run across various modules, will focus on business development and financial literacy, digital entrepreneurship and innovation management, marketing strategies, and leadership excellence.

Participants will also receive mentorship from seasoned entrepreneurs and industry professionals, aimed at transforming their innovative ideas into viable and impactful ventures.

Reaffirming GNACOPS’s commitment to national development, Mr. Gyetuah emphasized that the organization will continue to support government efforts in nurturing Ghana’s human capital and building a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem.

“Together, we are shaping a future where Ghanaian youth are not just job seekers but job creators, innovators, and change-makers,” he noted.

“Let us continue to collaborate, inspire, and build a nation powered by knowledge, innovation, and opportunity.”

The Adwumawura Programme is one of NEIP’s flagship initiatives designed to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and job creation among young people across Ghana.

GNACOPS’s inclusion as a national training hub underscores the pivotal role private education institutions play in driving socio-economic transformation through skills development and enterprise education.
