Mr. Kwesi Pratt has shared a revealing incident he witnessed in the office of a Ghanaian minister around 12:30 PM following a visit.

He disclosed this during his appearance on the Alhaji and Alhaji show, where he discussed the roles and responsibilities of ministers in Ghana.

Mr. Pratt stressed that many ministers are failing to contribute positively to the nation’s development and are instead misusing the country’s resources.

He also urged John Dramani Mahama to cap the number of ministers at no more than 60, a suggestion he had previously made to the Ghanaian public.

Mr. Pratt recounted an experience where he visited a minister’s office at noon, only to be told by the secretary that the minister was unavailable. After waiting for a considerable time, he decided to leave but later discovered that the minister was hosting a gathering with friends and family in the office at that hour.

“I visited one of the ministers around noon, but the secretary informed me he was busy and couldn’t see me. After waiting for a long time, I chose to leave and later called to schedule a meeting. To my surprise, I found them having a party in the office at 12:30 PM. This is deeply concerning and shows that not all ministers in Ghana are effective. Many are simply wasting the country’s resources. That’s why I believe John Dramani Mahama should limit the number of ministers to just 60,” Mr. Kwesi Pratt stated.
