Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has confirmed that the latest group of Ghanaian travellers arriving in Israel have faced no incidents of ill-treatment, restrictions, or impediments.

The update was shared through an official statement posted on his verified Facebook page recently.

According to the minister, the assurance follows reports received from Ghana’s Embassy in Israel, indicating that Ghanaian nationals currently entering the country are doing so without difficulty or negative experiences.
Hon. Ablakwa further emphasized that, in line with Ghana’s longstanding diplomatic principles, Israeli travellers visiting Ghana will be met with the nation’s renowned hospitality.

He noted that Ghana remains committed to extending goodwill to all nations and upholding mutually respectful international relations.
Reaffirming government policy, the minister stressed that Ghana will remain “unwavering in safeguarding the dignity of our nationals and other nationals”, underscoring the country’s foreign policy posture of friendship with all nations and enmity towards none.
The statement is expected to reassure Ghanaians abroad and reinforce Ghana’s stance on fair treatment and international cooperation amid evolving global travel conditions.
