Lawyer Dickson Osei-Assibey; Senior Lecturer at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has heaped loads of praises on the overlord of Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The former NPP 2024 parliamentary aspirant for Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency told www.leakyghana.com that the iconic leadership role played out by Asantehene since he occupied the throne has facelifted and attracted much glory to the Kingdom.
He explained that addition of value and a contemporary branding of the rich culture has attracted monumental admiration and honour to the advantage of Asantes.
Speaking on the sidelines of the culmination of the 25th anniversary of His Majesty, Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, held on Sunday, 12th May 2024, lawyer Osei-Assibey remarked that the magnitude of reverence which was paid to the Asantehene by national and international dignitaries at the pomp event speaks volumes of how weighty his kingdom has become.
“He is indeed our modern day King Solomon, a unifier and peace maker. In fact his reign has brought much honor to Asanteman”.

At the grand durbar, the Asantehene celebrated his 25th anniversary with the outdoor display of the Golden Stool, the highest and most revered seat in the Asante Kingdom.
The stool believed to have been conjured from the heavens by the great shaman; Okomfo Anokye, was part of the full traditional procession of the Asantehene at the event.
The most treasured possessions in the Kingdom, the Golden Stool is kept in a hallowed location and is only displayed in special occasions.
