Outspoken legal practitioner, Mr. William Kusi has cautioned Sampson Lardi Anyenini Esq., host of Joy Newsfile again.
Shortly after issuing a press statement, condemning what he described as series of unwarranted, defamatory, and reckless attacks on the person and character of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong by Sampson Anyenini, Lawyer Kusi has reiterated that the media personality should be extremely careful.
“He should be extremely careful because if it was not for politics, he would have been a cleaner in Kennedy’s house”, he said in an exclusive interview with Leaky News Online (www.leakyghana.com)
“When people like that get the opportunity to sit in studios they should be mindful. They should show respect.
Joy FM has given him the opportunity to be host of a very important program.
The reputation of that program was inherited by him.
He didn’t start it.
If those who started it spoke like him, Newsfile would not be as it is today.
And so he should be careful, otherwise we will descend on him, and we will walk through the gutters with him”.
For Lawyer Kusi, Sampson Lardi Anyenini must practice journalism according to the ethics of the profession.
“Because I listened to him and I was surprised that as a journalist, he could make those statements.
If he wants to be a politician fine…but if he wants to be a journalist as he is claiming then he should be a journalist because I don’t see him as a lawyer of good standing or stature because he is doing journalism while we are practicing in court and he has been reading text books thinking that is the law. That isn’t it. So please he should be careful.”
Still in the interview Lawyer William Kusi, a die-hard disciple of NPP’s 2028 Presidential candidate hopeful, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong made a solemn pledge that he will not tolerate anybody who will attack the maverick politician.
“I pledge that this year going, anybody who seeks to attack Kennedy Agyapong unreasonably will have my wrath. I will respond.
I will not even let Kennedy talk because deliberately people are throwing dust and stones at him.
This is a caution to all especially Sampson Lardi Anyenini of Newsfile.”
