The CEO for St. Georgina Health Care and Consultancy has probed President Akufo-Addo on why he chose building a national cathedral for God but declined okaying the anti-LGBTQ+ bill.

Rev. Dr. Godfred Andoh, who doubles as the convener for the famous Transformation Conference, says the President will have same question to answer before God on the day of judgement.

Throwing light on how Akufo-Addo is zealous about his vision of building a state-of-the-art temple amidst criticism from the opposition, he said he is shuddered over why the President has hirtherto failed to apply same passion to making a public disapproval of the practice of LGBTQ+ in Ghana.

Rev. Dr. Godfred Andoh said he is sure the answer Akufo-Addo will give God on the day of judgement will be “I love you and that’s why I decided to build a cathedral for you but I feared the western world and the consequences of IMF. Due to this reason I did not disapprove the practice of LGBTQ+”.

Addressing newsmen on the sidelines of the 2024 edition of the 3-day Transformation Conference, held in Kumasi on 25th-27th September, 2024, he advised the President to be bold when making a decision that promotes the interest of GOD.

“You want to build a cathedral for God but you don’t want to sign Anti-LGBTQ+ bill and mind you, on the great day of reckoning, God is the one who will judge you. It will not be the western world or IMF”, he admonished.

Rev. Dr. Godfred Andoh reiterated that Akufo-Addo should forget about economic restrictions that will be imposed on Ghana should he refuse to endorse the practice of LGBTQ+ or accent to the anti-LGBTQ+ bill.
