Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has urged the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to pair Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia with Hon. Kennedy Agyapong for the 2028 elections.
Speaking on Wontumi TV’s Mmra Ni Abrabo Mu Nsem, monitored by DailyNewsGhana, Ampaw argued that a Bawumia-Kennedy Agyapong ticket would be more appealing to voters than any other combination.
“Vote for Bawumia and make Kennedy Agyapong his running mate. That ticket would sell better than Bawumia and Alan,” he said.
“But when the NDC hears Bawumia’s name, they get BP and suffer depression. They get into the element of confusion,” Ampaw added.
