His Excellency Bishop Dr. Akwasi Adu Amankwah, a United States Ambassador to the United Nations Assembly has promised to support the administration of President John Dramani Mahama.

With the level of knowledge gained through the wise counsel of the overlord of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and experience acquired as a UN Global Peace Ambassador, he promised to join forces with Ghanaians in diaspora and offer President Mahama the necessary push to uplift Ghana to the status it deserves.

Following the recent inauguration of President John Dramani, the renowned clergy said it high time Ghanaians buried their political differences, focus on a united front as the current administration kick starts rolling out policies needed for nation building.

“Let’s stay united and work for the speedy progress of our country.”

His Excellency Bishop Dr. Akwasi Adu Amankwaah also admonished the President to also consider implementing policies that seek to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

These goals aim to address a broad range of challenges including poverty eradication, environmental sustainability, social equity and economic growth among others.
