Passing of Sylvester Turner, Mayor of Houston; A Tribute by Napo
I have sadly learnt of the passing of my friend and brother, former Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner.
Mayor Turner, as I called him, was passionate about deepening collaboration between Houston, the United States of America, and Ghana.
After my visit to him in Houston, Texas, in August 2021, he graciously returned the courtesy by visiting me as well in July 2023. We shared a strong commitment to maximizing the energy potential at our disposal.
Mayor Turner will be fondly missed.
May he rest in the bosom of the Lord until the last day of resurrection. Amen!
