Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George, has expressed profound gratitude to President H.E. John Dramani Mahama as he marks exactly one year since his appointment to Cabinet.
In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, the Minister said he was privileged to have been appointed by President Mahama to serve the nation, describing the opportunity as one of a lifetime. He noted that the past year has been characterised by intense learning, dedicated service and deep personal reflection.

Hon. George said the journey from his appointment through vetting and parliamentary approval defined much of his first year in office, shaping his approach to leadership and public service.
He further expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him by the President, noting that serving as the youngest member of Cabinet has been both humbling and instructive.

Reaffirming his commitment to national duty, the Minister pledged continued service to the country, stating that he remains “forever in service, for God and Country.”
