Chief of Adoato, Nana Amoah Tebe IV has cut sod for the construction of ultramodern Palace for the community.
The facility aside utilizing it for the daily administrative work of the community will serve as a hub for the promotion of the rich culture of Asanteman.
The pomp event which was held witnessed the attendance of traditional leaders, Members of Parliament, Ghanaians in diaspora among others.
Nana Amoah Tebe IV, said in his address that he is much focused at facelifting Adoato in the areas of education, sanitation, health, etc and therefore called for the support residents and well-to-dos.
In his address, he has urged all developers within his jurisdiction to submit their land documents for the necessary verification.
Person, group of persons or corporate bodies who have acquired a plot or plots of land from any source, wether built or work in progress or not yet developed are to halt work until he is done with conducting checks on their documents.
He has stressed that those who will fail to comply will hold themselves responsible for any ramification.
Nana Amoah Tebe IV gave the above notice at a sod-cutting ceremony held on Sunday for the construction of an ultramodern palace for the community.
The above move was called to play following ongoing construction of structures at areas within Adoato by individuals who have not earned the approval of the traditional council.
In his address at the durbar, he mentioned that some individuals after noticing he has been enstooled as Chief of Adoato are hurriedly putting up structures, insofar encroaching on lands of the community.
As part of measures aimed at addressing the situation, he said he is in talks with chiefs of neighboring communities on the erection of landmark boundaries for proper identification of all lands of Adoato.
