The Member of Parliament for the Subin Constituency, Hon. Lawyer Kofi Obiri Yeboah, has set the constituency aglow with excitement after showering hundreds of party delegates with Christmas gifts in a heart-warming ceremony.
The colourful event took place on Wednesday at the Amankwatia Primary School block, where delegates thronged the venue in their numbers to witness what many described as a rare show of appreciation and gratitude.
In a highly charged atmosphere filled with cheers and smiles, Hon. Kofi Obiri Yeboah personally presented the gifts to the delegates. Each beneficiary received an enveloped token alongside neatly boxed items, including clothing specially packaged for the festive season.
Addressing journalists at the sidelines of the event, the MP said the gesture was his way of saying a big “thank you” to the delegates whose unwavering support secured him victory in both last year’s parliamentary primaries and the general elections.
“I do not take your support for granted,” he stated, amid applause. “You stood by me when it mattered most, and this is just a small token of my appreciation.”
Hon. Kofi Obiri Yeboah further pledged his firm commitment to championing development in the Subin Constituency, assuring residents that he would work tirelessly to improve living conditions and deliver on his mandate.
The Christmas gift presentation has since sparked excitement across the constituency, with many delegates praising the MP for his humility, generosity, and continued connection with the grassroots.
