Hon. Lawyer Kofi Obiri Yeboah, Member of Parliament for Subin Constituency, has marked the first anniversary of his swearing-in, reflecting on a year of service, challenges, and community engagement.

In a heartfelt statement, Hon. Obiri Yeboah expressed deep gratitude to the people of Subin for their overwhelming support during the 2024 elections.

“Exactly one year ago, on 7th January 2025, I was sworn into office as the Member of Parliament for Subin Constituency, following the overwhelming endorsement and trust of the good people of Subin.

I remain deeply grateful to every constituent who sacrificed time, stood in the scorching sun and through the rains for hours, just to cast a vote of confidence in me,” he said.

The MP recounted the defining moments of his first year in Parliament, including the tragic fire outbreak at Adum, the central business district of Kumasi, which destroyed the livelihoods of many traders.

In response, he mobilized support for the victims, garnering assistance from key political figures such as Hon. Afenyo-Markin, former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Hon. Bryan Acheampong, and his brother Hon. Patrick Boamah.
Beyond crisis management, Hon. Obiri Yeboah highlighted his focus on education and youth development.

Over the past year, he has donated mathematical sets to BECE candidates and awarded scholarships to selected Senior High School students, aiming to reduce educational burdens on families and empower the next generation.

Reflecting on his journey so far, the Subin MP reiterated his commitment to service, accountability, and development.

“This first year has strengthened my resolve to work even harder for the prosperity of Subin.

The journey continues, and together, we will build a stronger and more prosperous Subin,” he stated.

Hon. Obiri Yeboah concluded with a prayer for his constituents and the nation: “God bless Subin. God bless Ghana.”
