Sierra Leone’s First Lady, Her Excellency Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, graciously accepted the 2nd Special Heroes Award on behalf of her husband, President Julius Maada Bio, at the fourth edition of the annual Heroes Awards. The prestigious event, known as ‘the TFN Heroes Award,’ was held at the Sir Dawda Kairaba International Conference Centre in Banjul, The Gambia.
The TFN Heroes Award recognizes and honours outstanding and inspiring personalities from The Gambia and beyond, who have made significant impacts in their respective fields. This year’s event celebrated individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and service to their communities and professions.
The award was presented to Dr. Fatima Maada Bio by the Vice President of The Gambia, Muhammed B.S. Jallow, in a ceremony that highlighted the contributions of those who strive to make a difference in society.
The First Lady’s acceptance of the award on behalf of President Bio underscores their shared commitment to leadership and social development in West Africa.
