π«ππππ¨π°π§, πππ² ππ, ππππ – Members of the Sierra Leone People’s Party Women’s Wing and students gathered in a jubilant celebration at the State Lodge to honour President Dr. Julius Maada Bio on his 60th birthday. Amidst cheerful melodies and heartfelt wishes, the gathering reflected on the President’s remarkable journey and unwavering dedication to the nation.
Women from diverse backgrounds and walks of life joined hands in expressing gratitude for President Bio’s leadership, highlighting his commitment to empowering women and advancing gender equality. The event was marked by heartfelt speeches and joyful camaraderie, underscoring not only a milestone in the President’s life but also the unity and strength of the SLPP Women’s Wing. As they continued to support and uplift their leader, the celebration reaffirmed their collective vision for a prosperous Sierra Leone.
One student, Fatmata Kamara, shared her thoughts on how the Free Quality Education program has impacted her life: “Thanks to President Bio’s Free Quality Education initiative, I now have the opportunity to pursue my dreams without financial barriers. The provision of free school materials and payment of school fees has lifted a huge burden off my family, allowing me to focus on my studies and aspire for a brighter future.”
The event showcased not only the admiration for President Bio but also the tangible impact of his policies on the lives of Sierra Leoneans.
