Controversial clergy, St. Sark has underscored the utilization of suicide drones in all mining areas as the best option that can end galamsey in Ghana.

Per his recommendation, suicide drones, otherwise known as aerial munition should be programmed by government to loiter mining areas, purposely to shoot to kill person or persons doing galamsey.

“As they loiter at the mining sites, they will crash into any target involved in the menace.”, he said.

Addressing newsmen on Wednesday at his church auditorium in Kumasi, the clergy who is the General Overseer of Open Arms Ministry kicked against the usual deployment of military, state security or special anti galamsey task force, saying “they are waste of time, energy and state resources”.

He asserted that as those involved in illegal mining are crashed to death by the loitering munition, the practice of galamsey in Ghana will end within few months.

“No need for soldiers, whatever. Just a suicide drone will end everything”, he indicated.

At the press briefing, he expressed that he is not impressed with government’s modus-operandi, “because people are still doing it”.

“If government thinks he is not okay with the suicide drone approach, he should alternatively burn the excavators.

His decision not to burn them will even worsen the matter.

It will encourage them to do more of the illegality.

Their excavators should be burnt including cars used by the illegal miners in their operations.

Before burning each excavator, salt must be put in the engine.”
