In a heartfelt message written in the condolence book, Mayor Allotey stated, “You have served your city and country well. The void you have left cannot be filled. The AMA team will fondly miss you. Have a peaceful rest.”
He noted that Mr. Armah’s leadership and institutional memory were instrumental to the operations of the Assembly, particularly during a critical period of administrative restructuring and policy implementation.

Speaking to journalists after the visit, the Mayor stated that the late Coordinating Director had earned the respect of both the political and administrative leadership at the AMA due to his professionalism, humility, and dedication to service.
“He was not just a bureaucrat; he was a mentor to many of us, a firm but fair administrator who helped steer the AMA through challenging reforms. His passing is a huge loss to the city of Accra,” the Mayor remarked.
