Ghana’s Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye had the honour of accompanying the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II few days ago to the University of Cape Coast at their Special Congregation in his Honour.

The University conferred on the Asantehene, a Doctor of Laws (LLD, Honoris Causa) in recognition of his remarkable achievements as a distinguished traditional leader.
Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye remarked on his official Facebook page that, throughout his reign, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has earned immense respect both within Ghana and on the global stage.

“His visionary leadership has brought remarkable progress in Asanteman and beyond, impacting key sectors such as, education, peacebuilding, cultural preservation, healthcare, and agriculture. His unwavering commitment to advancing humanity has left an indelible mark on countless individuals, communities, and nations”.
According to Hon. Asenso-Boakye, Asantehene’s exemplary leadership continues to inspire generations, “and I am hopeful that his influence will continue to shape, not only Ghana, but also the global landscape for years to come.
On this momentous occasion, I offer my heartfelt congratulations to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for this well deserved honour”.
