I hosted a farewell breakfast meeting in honour of the extraordinary departing British High Commissioner to Ghana, Her Excellency Harriet Thompson.

During her four year tenure, she worked tirelessly and admiringly to cement our historical bond of friendship and advance Ghana-UK relations — particularly in trade, security, education, youth empowerment, health and technical support for revenue mobilization.
I afforded the opportunity to convey profound gratitude for her recent personal intervention in facilitating the emergency medical travel of Suzy Pinamang when I reached out.
My beloved North Tongu is also extremely grateful for her memorable working visit to Juapong Textiles in 2022.
The prayers and good wishes of the government and amazing people of Ghana are with her in her future endeavours.
