The Public Relations Officer for Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Henrietta Konadu Aboagye has reiterated the city Mayor’s support for the upcoming National Prayer and Thanksgiving Program.

Speaking on behalf of the Mayor, Hon. Richard Ofori Agyeman Boadi a.k.a King Zuba at a press briefing on Tuesday, she said her Boss is much delighted by the integration of members of all religious faith into the initiative and was touched when the leadership of Kumasi Council of Christian Churches (KCCC) and that of the Muslim community paid a courtesy call on him in on the event.

The National Prayer and Thanksgiving Program comes off 1st July, 2024.

Ashanti region’s version will be held at the Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), behind the Tech Police Station from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

Islamic Prayers and Thanksgiving Service for same region and day starts at 12:30pm at the Kumasi Central mosque.

In her, Henrietta Konadu Aboagye said the City Mayor pleads for prayers for Ghanaian youth and those entrusted with national duty.

The media engagement was hosted by the leadership of Kumasi Council of Christian Churches(KCCC).

Present at the meeting was the representative of the Ashanti regional Minister, Emmanuel Opoku.
