I bring you greetings and education to negate your mischievous write-ups on your Facebook page from my abode.
First and foremost, you touched on HE President Akufo-Addo abandoning hospital projects started by Incompetent Mahama which are pure lies, I wished you would have touched on NDC abandoning KNUST 800 Bed Hospital facility which was commenced by Former President John Agyekum because, under the 8years rule of Mills/Mahama administration, not a single block was added to the project but today Prez Akufo-Addo has continued the project and its over 85% completion stage when completed would be a major boost to the health care service delivery in Ashanti region.
Again, all these Euroget hospital projects started by former Prez Kuffour has been completed by the current NPP government Bekwai Government Hospital, Tepa Government Hospital, Konongo Government Hospital, Kumawu Government, Fomena Government Hospital, Afari Military Hospital at 95% complete, Construction of the Komfo Anokye Children and Maternity ward by Rebecca foundation(Wife of President Akufo-Addo), etc is evidence of good governance by NPP government in the health care system in Ashanti region.
If you care to know, the old Tepa District hospital area has been Converted into Ghana Immigration Training School, Tepa, which is the Second (2nd) GIS training school apart from Assin Fosu.
Also, the Ongoing abandoned Komfo Anokye Maternity block started by Acheampong 48years ago is being constructed by President Akufo-Addo from ground Zero is over 85% completion stage, and when completed, the 750-bed maternity block will be the biggest in West Africa. Other ongoing hospital projects in Ashanti close to various completion stages are Twedie 40-bed hospital, Sabronum 40-bed hospital, Man so Nkwanta 40-bed hospital, Drobonso 40-bed hospital, Suame 40-bed hospital, etc.
Another, massive boost to enhance safe healthcare deliveries has been the 48 Ambulances donated to all Constituencies and the setting up of a Zipline drone center at Mampong-Ashanti to deliver essential medical care to all health facilities including CHPS Compounds in the region.
Furthermore, let me educate you on the UGMC hospital commenced by late Former President Atta Mills which was completed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government to what we see today. Incompetent Mahama hurriedly commissioned Phase I of the project a day before handing over power without some essential equipment the facility needed to be operational which the current NPP government provided them and completed Phase II for UGMC to become a complete hospital.
Finally, before the ink in my pen ✒finishes, from the above, President Akufo-Addo’s government has contributed more to the health care system in the Ashanti region than your so-called incompetent one. Therefore the good people of the Ashanti Region must repost their confidence in the NPP government and not fall for the lies and propaganda being peddled around by NDC members
