A dramatic prophecy has thrust Ghana’s Minority Leader in Parliament, Hon. Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin, into the spotlight after a Kumasi-based prophet issued a chilling warning about his safety.
The General Overseer of Shammah Fire and Miracle Ministries, Prophet Dr. Prince Brown, popularly known as the “Global Eagle Prophet,” made the claim during a 31st Night church service in December 2025.
According to the cleric, he saw a vision suggesting that the Effutu Member of Parliament had allegedly been poisoned through food, a revelation he said posed an immediate threat to the lawmaker’s life.
“He must be extremely careful about what he eats and who is close to him. If he is not vigilant, he could die unexpectedly,” the prophet declared.
Prophet Brown urged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart to tighten personal security and closely monitor his inner circle, describing the message as a divine warning meant to avert tragedy.
“Please be careful. You have a bright political future and great fortunes to achieve in the political terrain. NPP and Ghana cannot afford loosing you.”, he advised.
The explosive declaration has sparked intense public debate, with many questioning the growing trend of alarming prophecies involving political figures.
