Officials of PINASOL Foundation held a dinner party for 200 vulnerable children within the Sekyere East District of Ashanti region on 1st January, 2025.
The gesture falls under a 5-year duration project dubbed “Feed The Children”.
It is aimed at providing nutritious food to children who are on admission at health institutions and those on the street.
Donation of cooked food and drinks were also presented same day to children who were then admitted at Effiduasi government hospital, Ahmadiya hospital and Divine Grace hospital.
110 females and 90 males constituted the beneficiaries.
They were from communities including Buoya, Bomeng, Effiduase and Asokore.
Officials of PINASOL used the occasion to preach to them the Gospel of Christ, educate them on child rights, sex and personal hygiene.
The donation brought great relief to several mothers whose children were at the wards of the hospitals.
CEO of the foundation, Rev Solomon Asiamah Okyere told newsmen that the intervention is carried out annually to put smiles on the face of the children.
