The Member of Parliament for Oforikrom, Hon. Michael Akwasi Aidoo, has awarded scholarships to brilliant but financially challenged tertiary students within the constituency as part of his continued commitment to education and human capital development.
The scholarship initiative is designed to ease the financial burden on families while ensuring that deserving students are able to pursue and complete their academic programmes without interruption.
Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Aidoo reaffirmed his belief that education remains the most powerful driver of social mobility and community transformation. He emphasized that investing in young people is not only a moral responsibility but also a strategic investment in the future prosperity of Oforikrom.
“At a time when many households are facing economic pressures, it is important that we support our youth to achieve their full potential. The development of Oforikrom depends largely on the quality of education and opportunities we provide for the next generation,” he noted.
