The Deputy Chief Executive for Nwabiagya Rural Bank PLC, Mr. Richard Badu has been named a top notch candidate for the Chief Executive position of Atwima Nwabiagya North District.

His vision for the constitutency perfectly aligns with the interest of residents and die-hard supporters of NDC in the area, who for years have been waiting patiently for a political redeemer, equipped with what it takes to salvage the constitutency from the heat of stagnated progress, suffered at the hands of past administration.

Among the 16 individuals who have expressed interest in the position, whispers from reliable sources suggest that, the seasoned Banker, Richard Badu has massed up great support, endorsement and recognition for the DCE seat, owing to his significant contributions to the growth of the party, especially his untiring support to party members.

One key factor that enhances Richard Badu’s chances is his impressive recruitment of NDC members as staff of the number of businesses he has established in the district.

Richard Badu owns poultry farms, pharmaceutical shops, having a good number of party followers as staff.

Through his facilitation as the Deputy CEO for Nwabiagya Rural Bank PLC, he has secured loans with low interest rate for women of the party in the district.

Richard Badu was successfully vetted at the Ashanti regional NDC office on Friday.

He told newsmen that the above support “is just my small way of doing things for the party”.

He assured to do more if he is named by President John Dramani Mahama and commence his official duty as the DCE.

Employment

He promised to bring investors to invest in the various quarry sites within the district.

“I will ensure that about 70 to 80 percent of the locals are employed.”

Richard Badu also pledged to add recreational facilities to the Barekese and Owabi dams so as to maximize the IGF.

Education

“I will also enhance girl-child education through a sponsorship package for needy-but-brilliant students”.
