Hon. Henry Nana Boakye, National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has assured Ghanaians that preparations are underway to ensure a free, fair, transparent, and peaceful Presidential Primary scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026.

In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, Hon. Boakye said a joint stakeholder meeting was recently held with the NPP’s Presidential Elections Committee, the Ghana Police Service, and the Electoral Commission, with representatives from the National Executives and the Presidential

Aspirants’ teams also in attendance.
The meeting focused on security arrangements and overall preparations to guarantee a credible electoral process. Hon. Boakye highlighted that the Inspector General of Police assured all stakeholders of an incident-free election, noting that the collaborative efforts of all parties were “remarkable.”

He added that it was “refreshing” to see all stakeholders express satisfaction with the conduct and work of the Presidential Elections Committee so far.

The party remains firmly committed to upholding democratic values and ensuring a transparent and fair election process.
The statement signals the NPP’s proactive approach to managing the primaries and underscores its commitment to peaceful and credible internal elections.
