The newly appointed Executive Secretary of the Energy Commission, Ms. Adwoa Serwaa Bondzie, has pledged to lead a renewed drive for excellence and institutional strengthening following her first official engagement with Management and Staff at a Staff Durbar.

Addressing the gathering, Ms. Bondzie paid tribute to the contributions of former and current Boards, Management and Staff, whose commitment and resilience, she said, have shaped the Commission into Ghana’s foremost energy regulatory body.

She underscored the need for a renewed sense of purpose, urging staff to recommit to professionalism, innovation and high performance standards. According to her, strengthening regulatory discipline, encouraging responsible private sector investment and advancing Ghana’s energy transition will remain central to the Commission’s work in the coming years.

The Executive Secretary further highlighted her dedication to staff welfare and development, promising fairness, transparency and merit-based career progression.

She assured employees of an open and inclusive leadership style aimed at fostering collaboration and shared accountability.

“Together, we will reposition the Energy Commission to soar higher in service to Ghana,” Ms. Bondzie affirmed.

On behalf of the staff, the Vice Union Chair welcomed her leadership and expressed confidence in her vision.

The staff pledged their full cooperation and support to ensure the successful implementation of her mandate and the continued growth of the Commission.
