Hon. Samuel Nartey George, Minister for Communication, has reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) flagship reform blueprint, the #ResetAgenda, declaring that the administration will not fail in delivering on its mandate to Ghanaians.

In a strongly worded message shared on his official Facebook page, the Minister stated:
“The #ResetAgenda would not fail. Ghanaians would be better off as we deliver on our mandate. So help us God.”

The post, though brief, carries considerable weight as it comes from one of the NDC’s most vocal, visible, and digitally savvy leaders.
Known for his bold communication style and unapologetic stance on national issues, Sam George has consistently demonstrated political maturity and a deep understanding of governance and policy; traits that have won him both grassroots admiration and international attention.
Since assuming office, the Minister has wasted no time signaling a new era for Ghana’s communication sector, advocating for transparency, digital inclusion, and media independence.
His stewardship is already being praised by stakeholders in the tech and telecom industries for its consultative approach and strategic vision.
Political analysts say George’s statement is a direct message to both supporters and critics that the administration remains focused and unfazed by early challenges.
The #ResetAgenda, which propelled the NDC back into power in the 2024 elections, promises institutional reforms, digital innovation, anti-corruption efforts, and youth employment initiatives.
In his current role, Sam George is uniquely positioned to drive digital transformation and information policy; two critical pillars of the agenda.
His blend of grassroots connection and policy fluency is expected to play a key role in shaping the public face of the NDC government.
Opposition elements, particularly from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), have criticized the agenda as ambitious but lacking a clear execution roadmap. However, George’s confidence and clarity in messaging suggest that the Communication Ministry is ready to play a central role in making the Reset Agenda a lived reality.
As the administration moves deeper into its first year, eyes will be on leaders like Sam George, whose performance may well define the credibility and success of the government’s transformative promises.
