NDC Parliamentary candidate for Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency, Mr. Mba Zechariah Alenbilah has carried out a mass donation of customized exercise books to pupils of public school.
On Wednesday, 18th September, 2024, he targeted reaching out to 8,000 pupils, each receiving one exercise book, colourfully adorned with his political picture.
Arriving at Asuofua D/A Primary School, he made presentation of their share of the books to heads of blocks A, B, C and D.
The exercise covered public schools at Asamang, Adankwame, Akropong, among others, all within the Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency.
Addressing www.leakyghana.com, the NDC candidate said he settled on supporting them after realizing that not all parents are able to buy the required number of books for their wards.
He noted that a number of students within public schools are vulnerable and are not getting support.
Mba Zechariah Alenbilah said he will embark on same exercise after today’s, which will target 10,000 students in the constitutency.
Receiving the books, the head of Primary B block of the Asuofua D/A Primary School, Madam Emilia Adocta, thanked the candidate for the support.
She underlined the move as a great relieve to students, explaining that since school re-opened, a number of students hitherto don’t have the required number of exercise book for academic work.
