I received copies of Manasseh Azure Awuni’s new book this afternoon on behalf of NPP Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and myself.
I used the opportunity to indicate my trust in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s commitment to deal with the canker of corruption, which is a recipe for good governance. Dr. Bawumia, I reiterated, has been unequivocal in his determination to fight corruption without fear or favour, ill-will or malice because of his proven incorruptibility.
I urged Manasseh and the media fraternity to however, be circumspect and exercise a great deal of responsibility in their reportage and expression of opinions, as we strive to deepen our democracy.
I look forward to quickly reading the book and aquainting myself with the content therein.
