2024 Vice Presidential candidate for NPP, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has described the passing of the Paramount Chief of Asante Mampong as a great loss to Asanteman.
After paying a customary visit on the Queen of the area to commiserate with her and the surviving widow, family and people, he remarked on his official Facebook page that he personally feels the loss.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh a.k.a “Napo” gave reason that the Paramount Chief, Daasebre Nana Osei Bonsu II was a great figure to him.
“I will miss his mentoring, counseling, and guidance.
I have assured the Queenmother and the royal family of my full support throughout the doteyie and final funeral rites.”
