As the First Lady of Sierra Leone, a nation that has overcome its own past of conflict, I am deeply committed to advocating for peace and humanitarian support for those affected by war.
This forum serves as a powerful reminder that we must continue to work collectively to heal the wounds of conflict and restore dignity to millions in need.
I emphasized that peace is not just the absence of war; it is the foundation upon which human progress rests.
“Humanitarian aid is the lifeblood for countless individuals trapped in conflict zones, offering hope when all seems lost.
But beyond providing immediate relief, we must focus on long-term solutions that rebuild shattered communities and empower them to thrive once again.
