23-year old Evans Aryeh, a beneficiary of “Bright Scholarship” program; a flagship initiative of MTN Ghana Foundation has received a prestigious award from the College of Health Sciences of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
He was honored on Monday, 25th November, 2024 by the college as the “Best Graduating Student in the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)” for the class of 2024 at the KNUST 58th Congregation.
Portion of a citation scribbled on a plaque presented to him at the occasion reads: “Your hardwork, determination and commitment to academic excellence have enabled you to achieve this significant milestone and the college of Health Sciences is proud to recognize your achievement…”
Evans Aryeh makes the total number 14; beneficiaries of Bright Scholarship program who graduated at KNUST for 2024 academic year.

Award-winning Evans Aryeh thanked officials of MTN Ghana Foundation for the generous support.
He said he was not privy to Bright Scholarship program until he was informed and prompted by his father to apply.
“At the time I was applying for the scholarship, my sister was severely indisposed and all the money my parents had were always directed at settling her medical bills.
So this scholarship came my way as a chance for me to relieve some financial burden off my parents”, he testified.
Evans Aryeh underlined full payment of tuition, semesterly stipend for academic expenses, accomodation, laptop and mentorship as benefits he enjoyed under the MTN Bright Scholarship program.
