MTN Ghana, in collaboration with Significant International Training Systems (SITS), successfully held the Time Keeping Dialogue Series 018 via a Zoom meeting on Sunday, 1st February 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
The event was streamed live to a diverse online audience and marked a powerful start to the year’s leadership conversations.

The dialogue was hosted by Georgia Asare Fiagbenu, Senior Manager for Corporate Communications at MTN Ghana, and brought together distinguished speakers including Ibrahim K. Asante, Founder of Significant International Training Systems; Odelia Ntiamoah, Media Strategist; and Naval Captain Kwame Yirenkyi.
The session, themed “Raising the Bar in 2026: Leadership Lessons on Time and Discipline,” focused on how leaders’ approach to time management directly impacts performance, productivity, and results.

Participants engaged in a candid and thought-provoking discussion on discipline, focus, and practical habits that drive success in leadership, business, and everyday life.
In his presentation, Ibrahim K. Asante highlighted the normalisation of delays as a major factor affecting effective time utilisation in society.
He strongly cautioned against this culture and emphasized discipline, respect for time, and the need to start meetings short, smart, and sharper as key strategies for raising performance standards.
He also underscored the importance of leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Mr. Asante further noted that adopting a national discipline approach to time management would significantly boost overall productivity.
Drawing from personal experience, he recalled a timeless lesson taught by his father: “If you are early, you are on time; if you are on time, you are late; if you are late, you are out.”
He credited this principle as a guiding force behind his personal and professional success.
Sharing insights from a military perspective, Naval Captain Kwame Yirenkyi spoke about the rigorous time discipline instilled during his early training at the military academy.
He explained that time is a critical resource in the military, essential to every operation and activity, and that this training shaped him into an effective manager of time.
He admonished participants to first value time as a foundational step in raising the bar, stressing that time waits for no one and once lost, can never be regained.
The dialogue was widely described by participants as life-changing, offering real lessons, real experiences, and real impact.
The session reaffirmed MTN Ghana’s commitment to thought leadership and capacity-building initiatives that inspire individuals and organisations to excel.
