The MTN Ghana Foundation is set to officially hand over the newly completed and expanded Accident and Emergency (A&E) Block at the Ho Teaching Hospital on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

The ceremony is expected to bring together key stakeholders, including traditional authorities, community leaders, health professionals, and representatives of the Foundation, to commemorate the successful completion of the critical healthcare project.

The modern A&E facility, which commenced construction in June 2024, has been equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment designed to significantly enhance emergency healthcare delivery in the Volta Region.

The expansion aims to improve accessibility and convenience for patients, staff, and visitors, while strengthening the hospital’s capacity to respond effectively to emergency cases.

The upgraded facility is expected to ease congestion, streamline emergency response services, and ultimately improve patient outcomes.

It represents a major boost to healthcare infrastructure in the region and aligns with national efforts to enhance quality healthcare delivery across Ghana.

Through this initiative, the MTN Ghana Foundation continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to supporting impactful health interventions that create lasting change in communities.

As preparations advance for the official handover, the Foundation has reaffirmed its dedication to investing in projects that expand access to quality medical services and contribute meaningfully to regional development.

The completion of the A&E Block marks another milestone in the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Ghana’s healthcare system and improve the well-being of citizens.
