During the 2024 Annual Educational Leadership Summit organized by the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS), the Ministry of Education reaffirmed its commitment to supporting private schools in Ghana.
Deputy Minister for Education, Hon. Prof. Kingsley Nyarko, assured participants that the Ministry is ready to discuss the establishment of a private education service once the resolution is received.
This assurance was made in response to GNACOPS’ resolution, presented during the summit, calling for the establishment of a private education service.
The resolution aims to enhance the quality and standards of private education in Ghana, and the Ministry’s response demonstrates its dedication to fostering a collaborative relationship with private schools.
The summit, themed “Reimagine, Rethink, and Redeliver: Crafting Education for Perpetual Revolution,” provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss challenges and opportunities in private education.
The Ministry’s assurance marks a significant outcome of the event, paving the way for productive discussions and collaboration.
Private schools can expect a fruitful engagement with the Ministry, exploring ways to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities. This collaboration marks a significant step towards transforming Ghana’s education landscape.
GNACOPS is encouraged to submit this resolution to the Ministry, building on the momentum from the summit. Together, we can create a world-class education system that benefits all Ghanaians.
