Hon. Samuel Nartey George, Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovation, has received a special citation from AlphaVecta Technologies Limited in recognition of his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing Artificial Intelligence in Ghana and across the African continent.


The citation, presented by AlphaVecta CEO Mr. Carlos Amoako, celebrated the Minister’s pivotal role in championing responsible, inclusive, and forward-looking AI policies.

It also acknowledged his active participation and support during the recently held Pan-African AI Summit in Accra; a landmark event that brought together key voices in Africa’s emerging tech landscape.
Following the presentation, the Minister hosted a high-level discussion with the AlphaVecta delegation, exploring strategic ways to deepen public-private collaboration in building a resilient AI ecosystem in Ghana. He reaffirmed the government’s dedication to making Ghana a leading hub for ethical AI development and innovation in Africa.

The delegation from AlphaVecta, a UK- and Ghana-based company focused on leveraging AI for sustainable development, echoed this vision and expressed their readiness to support national efforts through innovation, research, and talent development initiatives.
The visit marked a significant step in strengthening partnerships that align with Ghana’s digital transformation agenda and long-term technological growth.
