

The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George (MP), has held bilateral discussions with the Pakistan High Commission to Ghana aimed at strengthening cooperation in the digital sector between the two countries.

The meeting, which took place at the Ministry’s Head Office, brought together the Minister and the Pakistan High Commissioner to Ghana, H. E. Najeeb Durrani, to explore opportunities for collaboration and investment of mutual benefit.


Discussions focused on digital technology development, skills transfer, and strategic investment, with particular interest in leveraging Pakistan’s experience in delivering technology solutions suited to developing economies.

Hon. Samuel Nartey George reiterated Ghana’s openness to working with a wide range of partners and investors to accelerate its digital transformation agenda.
He emphasized that since assuming office, his priority has been to foster partnerships that produce measurable and sustainable outcomes, including local capacity building, skills development, and the transfer of practical technological expertise.

The Minister further underscored Ghana’s interest in moving beyond conventional technology approaches toward innovative, scalable, and forward-looking solutions.
He highlighted the importance of effectively harnessing emerging technologies to drive inclusive growth and improve service delivery across key sectors of the economy.
Both sides expressed optimism about deepening cooperation and agreed on the need to continue engagements that would translate discussions into concrete initiatives beneficial to Ghana and Pakistan.
