The Mayor of Accra, Hon. Michael Kpakpo Allotey, has engaged school feeding caterers from across the Greater Accra Region to discuss their challenges and the way forward in delivering nutritious meals to pupils.
The meeting brought together caterers from 20 districts including the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Ablekuma Central, Ablekuma North, Weija-Gbawe, Ayawaso West, Ga Central, Adentan, La Dade Kotopon, La Nkwantanang-Madina, and Shai Osudoku.
In his remarks, Mayor Allotey reiterated the importance of loyalty and encouraged the caterers to work hard to improve the quality of meals provided under the school feeding programme, emphasising the need to make them healthier and more nutritious for schoolchildren.
Hon. Allotey pledged to support the caterers and urged them to demonstrate loyalty and hard work by improving the quality and nutritional value of meals provided to school children.
