On January 7, 2025, a significant event took place as the inauguration of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama was held in Accra.
The ceremony was graced by a host of dignitaries, including former President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and various other distinguished guests who came to show their support for Mahama’s milestone event.
In addition to political figures, several celebrities and religious leaders attended the inauguration.
Among them was the renowned Ghanaian prophet, Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, also known as Opambour. A video featuring Opambour has recently gone viral on social media, where he makes bold claims about his role at the event.
According to the prophet, his presence at the inauguration was crucial in protecting the ceremony from negative forces.
Opambour stated, “Mahama was lucky I came to his inauguration; I worked against bad spirits.” He explained that upon arriving at the Black Star Square in Accra, he immediately began praying fervently, continuing until the conclusion of the event.
Afterward, Opambour revealed that he returned home and offered thanks to God for ensuring the ceremony proceeded smoothly.
Opambour is widely known for his dynamic preaching and spiritual guidance, with a large following in Ghana.
He is the founder of the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center in Kumasi and has garnered attention not only for his sermons but also for his public prophecies about well-known figures. His remarks at the inauguration have sparked considerable reactions on social media, with many praising his spiritual influence, while others remain skeptical of his assertions.
