In a startling spiritual prediction, Prophet Sarpong See, founder and leader of the Prayer Seat Prophetic Church, has warned that a severe downpour, described as “torrential rain” will disrupt the upcoming final funeral rites of late highlife legend Daddy Lumba, unless his family undertakes spiritual intervention.
A Vision of Grief and Warning
Speaking in an interview with newsmen , Prophet Sarpong See said he experienced a powerful vision in which Daddy Lumba appeared alongside his mother and uncle.
According to the prophet, Lumba was weeping:
“I saw Lumba with his mother and uncle … Lumba was crying … Lumba told me he is not happy because that is not how he wanted things to go when he was alive.”
Sarpong See interprets the vision as more than symbolic grief: he claims Lumba’s unsettled spirit is deeply troubled by the ongoing family litigation that has followed his death, and that this unrest could manifest physically in the form of disruptive weather.
Rain, Reputation, and Repercussions
The prophet disclosed that rain will begin from the moment Lumba’s body is laid in state and continue until around 6:00 p.m., a time when many dignitaries and loved ones are expected to attend.
According to him, the rain will physically prevent key guests from showing up; a spiritual repercussion of the family’s ongoing internal battles.
Sarpong See has further cautioned that without spiritual intervention, there will be far more dire consequences. He claims to have seen in a vision “spiritual summons”, warning that three members of the Lumba family will die if the issues are not addressed. He urged family leaders to urgently seek reconciliation and spiritual guidance.
Plea for Discretion and Spiritual Healing
The clergyman criticized how the dispute over Lumba’s funeral arrangements has spilled into the public eye. He argued that such sensitive matters ought to be handled privately, saying, “the issue should not have been let loose into the public domain.”
He also hinted at “hidden truths” yet to emerge and offered to disclose them only in a private meeting with the family.
Prophet Sarpong See’s warning suggests that the family’s internal conflict may have more than temporal consequences, at least in the spiritual realm.
Whether the family will heed his call for intervention remains to be seen. But his stark statement, that rain will drown more than just the ceremony has certainly introduced a new layer of urgency to Lumba’s already turbulent final chapter.
