The Member of Parliament for the Kwadaso Constituency and former Deputy Minister for Education, Hon. Prof. Kingsley Nyarko, has begun the distribution of street lights to Assembly Members within the Kwadaso Municipality to enhance security and improve visibility across communities.

A total of 105 boxes, containing 210 pieces of street lights, were distributed to all 15 Assembly Members, with support from their respective NPP Electoral Area Coordinators to facilitate installation. Each Assembly Member received seven (7) boxes, amounting to fourteen (14) street lights.

The initiative is aimed at addressing existing street-lighting challenges, improving nighttime visibility, and strengthening security, particularly as the Christmas festivities approach, a period marked by increased movement and commercial activities.

The donation underscores Hon. Prof. Nyarko’s continued commitment to community development, public safety, and improved mobility within the Kwadaso Municipality.

When fully installed, the street lights are expected to reduce lighting deficits, boost commercial confidence, and help curb insecurity associated with poorly lit areas.

Residents and local leaders across the beneficiary communities expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful, while also highlighting the spirit of collaboration it has fostered among local stakeholders.

The street lights were presented on behalf of the Member of Parliament by:

Mr. Anthony Osei Kwadwo, Electoral Area Coordinator, Tekyiman–Denkyemuoso

Hon. Anane Ntiamoah, Former Government Appointee, Kwadaso Municipal Assembly

Mr. J. B. Danquah, Personal Assistant to the Member of Parliament

Mr. Victor Afriyie Gyamfi, Aide to the Member of Parliament

The installation process is expected to commence immediately across the various electoral areas.
