If there’s one thing that is central to Ghana’s development, we must all agree that it is one thing only: how to instil hope in the youth of our country. I hold a strong belief in the limitless potential of young people in Ghana and the bright future that awaits our beloved country, but we need to make them genuinely believe that Ghana is where they will make their mark on this growing global society. As Ghanaians, we must nurture and uplift our country to its fullest potential. But as a society, I don’t think we can survive and achieve this potential without truly listening to young people and developing their skills.
For my part, I’m dedicated to creating job opportunities through our McDan Group brands and empowering the youth through platforms like McDan Youth Connect. This forum provides valuable opportunities for growth and development for young people. Additionally, I recognize the importance of mentorship in cultivating a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. That’s why we have the McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge, which aims to guide and inspire aspiring young entrepreneurs to reach their full potential.
