The Ekouna Royal Family of Atwima Foase, together with the Member of Parliament for the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency, Hon. Kofi Amankwah Manu, have extended their heartfelt appreciation to all who supported them during the final funeral rites of the late Akwasi Ennin, former 2nd Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the constituency.

In a statement released this week, the family and the MP acknowledged the immense support they received from a wide cross-section of society, including political leaders and members of the NPP, relatives, friends, sympathisers, chiefs, elders, churches, and well-wishers.

Notably, supporters from both the NPP and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) were also commended for their presence, prayers, and contributions, which ensured the peaceful and successful conduct of the funeral ceremonies held on January 24 and 25, 2026, at Atwima Foase.

“We are most grateful for your kindness, support, and sacrifices during our moment of bereavement. Your contributions have deeply touched us and shall forever remain in our hearts,” the statement read.

The family and Hon. Amankwah Manu concluded by praying for God’s blessings upon all who stood by them during this difficult period, reiterating their profound gratitude for the love and solidarity shown.
