The hardworking Mayor of Accra, Hon. Michael Kpakpo Allotey, has been showered with praise and honoured by the Legal Green Association (LGA) of Ghana for his trailblazing leadership and bold vision in transforming the nation’s capital.
The recognition came during a courtesy visit by a high-powered LGA delegation, led by Festus Matey, who described the Mayor as “a beacon of hope and inspiration for Ghana’s youth.”
Mr. Matey, flanked by Evans Mawunyo Tsikata, Ebenezer Sefa-Kissi, and Don Emmanuel Agbanyo, hailed the Mayor’s tireless commitment to building a “Smart, Safer, Vibrant, and Resilient Accra.”
He noted that the Mayor’s youth empowerment programmes have not only transformed lives but have also ignited a new spirit of civic responsibility among young professionals across the city.
“Your leadership has sparked a new wave of ambition among Ghana’s youth. We see in you the kind of visionary leadership our generation dreams of,” Mr. Matey declared, presenting the honour on behalf of the Association.
In a passionate show of support, the LGA pledged to partner with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) to advance the Mayor’s development agenda, offering their legal expertise and professional services to help shape the future of the capital.
The visit ended on a high note, with the delegation reaffirming their commitment to championing the Mayor’s transformative vision for Accra; a city they described as “rising, resilient, and ready for the future.”
