The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TruMerit (formerly CGFNS International) to support the professional growth and international mobility of its members.
The ceremonial signing took place at the GRNMA National Headquarters in Shiashie, Accra, and was attended by the GRNMA President, Mrs Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, members of the National Executive Committee, and President of TruMerit, Dr Peter Preziosi.

Through this partnership, GRNMA members will benefit from access to TruMerit’s credential verification and certification services, including support for international practice, licensing, and career advancement opportunities in the U.S. and other countries.

This collaboration which is the first in the West African region by any Nursing and Midwifery group reinforces GRNMA’s commitment to protecting the welfare, professional development, and global competitiveness of nurses and midwives in Ghana.

The event received concerns and feedback from members who participated both in-house and online during the event.
