The Vice President of Ghana, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang joined H.E John Dramani Mahama to meet the families of government officials who perished in the gory helicopter crash.
They were families of late Dr. Samuel Sarpong, late Squadron leader Peter Anala, late Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah, and late Flying Officer Twum Ampadu.
Other government officials at the office of Chief of Defence Staff, Major General William Agyapong also accompanied the President.
On her official Facebook page, Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang wrote-“on behalf of the nation, we extended our deepest condolences to the families, and assured them of our support in this difficult time.”
At the meeting, President John Dramani Mahama and the Vice President signed the book of condolence in honour of the fallen national heroes.
