The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has announced the launch of a nationwide capacity-building programme aimed at enhancing the professional competence of private school teachers across the country.

The training will focus on the Standard-Based Curriculum (SBC) and the Common Core Programme (CCP), both of which are key components of the Ministry of Education’s strategy to improve teaching and learning outcomes in Ghana.

According to GNACOPS, the initiative seeks to deepen teachers’ understanding and effective implementation of the national curriculum. It also aims to promote instructional excellence and ensure private schools are aligned with national learning standards.
“All private school teachers and school leaders are warmly invited to register and participate in this timely programme,” the Council stated in a release. “This training presents an important opportunity for educators to update their knowledge and skills to meet the evolving demands of the education sector.”

Interested participants can register through the official link: https://forms.gle/W4HzvpP5xCU7cuCB6. Training venues, dates, and regional schedules will be announced in due course.
The cost of participation is GHS 100.00 per person, which covers training materials and certification. For customized or special training sessions, schools are encouraged to contact the GNACOPS Secretariat directly via 0535196870, 0535196872, or 0597425980.
GNACOPS is urging all private educators to take advantage of the programme to remain current with best practices and national education standards.
