In an important initiative to support private education in Ghana, a team from the National Secretariat of the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS), led by the National Executive Director, embarked on a two-day visit to the Akwapem North District.
Accompanied by media personnel, the training officer, the Deputy Administrator, the Regional Coordinator, and the District Coordinator, the team aimed to engage with private school owners and educators as the 2024-2025 academic year commenced.
As part of GNACOPS’ commitment to fostering quality education across the country, this visit was a courtesy call to all private schools.
The team interacted with school administrators and teachers to monitor educational delivery and ensure effective implementation of ongoing educational reforms.
Their goal was to offer various opportunities that would enhance teaching and learning in the private education sector.
During their visit, the GNACOPS team toured 21 schools, taking the time to acknowledge and commend the hard work and dedication of the educators.
The Executive Director praised the school owners and teachers for their commitment to providing quality education and encouraged them to continue their outstanding efforts.
In addition to offering praise, the Executive Director provided a comprehensive orientation on the GNACOPS-UEW program.
He emphasized the importance of this program for professional development and urged teachers to actively participate.
